Postini Access - Check Spam

Dear Wayland Staff

We have had to change some of our Google spam filters to allow non-members of 'Groups' to be able to send emails to 'Groups' and for parents with Yahoo accounts to be able to email teachers. As a result, users are receiving more spam. As we continue to test this issue with 'Groups' we will keep you posted.

In the meantime, we recommend you do the following to assist with managing Gmail SPAM:

1)  Select the spam eMail and click on '!' to report SPAM.
2)  Check
frequently for missing emails in your SPAM folder  (Click 'Delete forever' or 'Not spam')

3)  AT LEAST once a week log into Postini (our front end filtering and archiving system) and check for emails that may have been mislabeled and retained as spam.
